“Life is like a river”

“Life is like a river”, it has a fluidity that means we as humans experience challenges and encounter problems that can at times get us down and thus affect our functioning and our view of life.

At Swinford Psychotherapy we strive to support the client to find a way that will give them the ability to work through what is for them a challenge. The ethos is person-centred, with the client at the core. The work is strengthened by using a broad range of therapeutic interventions that the therapist feels is the best fit for the client. The aim always is to support and empower the client through the therapy journey.

The following is an outline of issues that could bring a person to engage in therapy with us:

  • Addiction
  • Anxiety and Panic Attack
  • Adoption
  • Abuse
  • Anger Issues
  • Depression
  • Bereavement
  • Trauma
  • Suicide Ideation
  • Sexual Identity
